Christopher Verdi

At 19, I was an all-state soccer player on my way to the top! After having a debilitating lower back injury that lead to a surgical fusion of my sacrum and lumbar spine (L5), I could never fully recover and it ended my college and professional soccer aspirations because of chronic muscle pain and injuries.

After receiving my BA from Franklin College and years of being frustrated with my workouts, I became a Certified Personal Trainer to learn more about how to keep myself from becoming injured, and more importantly, help other people avoid similar traumatic experiences related to physical activity.

After three years of training, I felt that something was missing.  Some people I trained just couldn’t seem to get the results they wanted no matter how hard they tried.  Then I came across MAT and I knew it was the missing link!

I was never the same after experiencing my first MAT session.  MAT finally offered the much desired pain relief I had been seeking for the last 17 years.  In 2007 I became a certified MAT Specialist, and have been working on treating muscle system related issues with a diverse population of clients ever since.

Christopher received his bachelor’s degree and graduated in the December of 1991 from Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. He was the Captain of his high school soccer team his senior year and made the All-State Soccer Roster his Junior and Senior years. He was a college athlete and was a member of the Franklin Grizzlies Soccer team for his freshman and sophomore years.  He has been a Certified Personal Trainer from the American College of Sports Medicine (ASCM) and from the National Sports and Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 2005.  Chris is also the creator of the CoreRestore Exercise program.
